MyOratory
Terms of Use
These terms apply to the MyOratory apps, the web version at myoratory.com/app and this website, made by AgileFruit. By using MyOratory you agree to them.
Licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use MyOratory for your own prayer and devotion. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms and that agreement differ, Apple's agreement governs your use of the iOS app.
Free use and Premium
- Praying with MyOratory is free: every Office, prayer and Bible is available without paying.
- MyOratory Premium adds features such as extra scenes, music and voices, and unlimited saved prayers. It is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, and from time to time as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. You can manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time; see how.
The texts
Prayers come from the Book of Common Prayer (1662, 1928 and 1979 traditional forms) and from traditional devotions of the Church, in public-domain forms. Scripture comes from public-domain translations: the King James Version, Berean Standard Bible, World English Bible, Geneva Bible (1599) and Douay-Rheims. The design, recordings, music and software of MyOratory belong to AgileFruit or its licensors.
Acceptable use
Please don't copy or resell the app, try to break or overload it, or use it to harm others.
No guarantees
We work to keep MyOratory reliable, but it is provided as it is, without warranties. MyOratory supports prayer and devotion; it is not a substitute for pastoral, medical or professional care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
